This was the first hike we’ve started when it was actively raining. As many of the hikes through CVNP have been, the scenery changed from fields, to lakes, to woods. It rained on and off throughout the hike, some moments soggier and muddier than others. The sun peaked out towards the end of the hike and we saw two deer, a green heron, and some ducks.
